Thus, if we can identify those at risk of dementia
while they are in the pre-clinical asymptomatic
state, treatment could be started at this stage. Fur-
thermore, the same approach we develop for clas-
sifying biomarkers for AD in our longitudinal study
can then be applied to similar studies investigating
other dementias.
